The 10th Annual California Women's State Championship (CWC) is scheduled for July 18-20, 2005 at the challenging Pacific Palms Resort (Industry Hills) Eisenhower course. Entry is currently open and runs through June 18th. For an entry form or further information, visit the CWC website.
The next Women's Golf Council tournament is a Partner Best Ball Event scheduled for Saturday, June 18th at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course in Mission Viejo. Council tournaments are open to any female golfer with a verifiable USGA index. For information, an entry form or online entry.
Marianne Towersey of Santa Ana Country Club won the 27th Annual California Senior Women's Amateur Championship held on May 16-18 in Monterey. Marianne had a 3-day score of 230 and won the championship for the third time. Marge Cryan of Hacienda Golf Club had a 3-day total of 256 and won the Super Senior Championship for the eighth time.
